2026 UPDATE: Due to recent weather impacting trail and course conditions, the 2026 race has been cancelled. Planning is already underway for a strong return in 2027, and we look forward to welcoming participants back.

The Easter Bunny is hopping into Fernie Alpine Resort for a fun-filled day the family won’t want to miss!

Celebrate the holiday on the slopes with a variety of festive activities for all ages.

Get creative at the arts & crafts station, where little ones can make their own Easter masterpieces to take home.  Join in some Bunny Games in the daylodge or see if you can follow the clues on the Easter Scavenger Hunt in the base area.   And of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny! Make sure to stop by for photos and a chance to say hello!

Whether you're skiing, riding, or just soaking up the spring vibes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy Easter in the mountains.

11:30am-2pm - Easter Bunny visit in the Daylodge with kids crafts, colouring, scavenger hunt and photo opportunities!

Join us from 8:00am to 10:30am at Cirque Restaurant for a delicious start to your Easter celebration. Enjoy all your favourite Cirque breakfast classics, along with special features like the Kids Easter Bunny Pancake and Easter Eggs Benny’s.

End the Winter Season on a High Note!

Celebrate closing weekend in style at Fernie Alpine Resort with Fernival 2026 presented by Corona & Banded Peak Brewing.

Join us for a spring send-off where skiing meets après. While Slopesoaker won’t take place this year, the plaza comes alive with local bands, a lively crowd, and all the good vibes that make Fernie unforgettable.

All Weekend - Take on the mountain photo challenge. Follow the prompts, get creative with your crew, and capture your best spring moments for a chance to win a Fernie Prize Pack.

Saturday: Spend the day making your last turns with family and friends before heading to the plaza for an afternoon of live music, dancing, and good times in our BBQ & Beverage Gardens with live music.  Kick things off with the sweet sounds of Hark Raving Sirens before our headliner Fernie Favourites Shred Kelly hit the stage.

Sunday: Start the morning with fresh tracks, then make your way to the plaza for more live music and festivities as we dance into the final hours of the season with Liquid Silence.

Don’t miss this incredible weekend of spring skiing, great tunes, and all-around good vibes.

Final day of operations for the 2025-26 Winter Season.

Get in your final turns of the season and then join us in the plaza for the finale of Fernival.  Come down to the plaza from 2:30pm - 5:30pm and enjoy a free live performance from Liquid Silence.   Griz Bar legends, Liquid Silence brings a high-energy mix of crowd-favourite covers and original songs that'll have you dancing in your ski boots to end the season.

Strap on your skis or snowboard and see if you can make it across our Slope Soaker pond.

Participants are encouraged to dress in creative costumes, as crossing the pond is not the only goal. Extra prizes and points will be awarded for creativity/costumes, effort, crowd reaction, biggest splash, etc.

This fun event is open to anyone 12 years of age and older.
