Snowboarders, this one is for you! We are stoked to welcome back the Dirty Dancer Banked Slalom.

Get back to your snowboarding roots with the Dirty Dancer Banked Slalom, a throwback to the '80s when snowboarders were the outlaws of the wild west, banned from most ski resorts and forced to fight for the right to shred! Well, times have changed, and we want you to celebrate by entering this awesome event for all ages.

While times count, this event is really all about hanging out with fellow snowboarders and celebrating the community. It's a chance to connect with fellow riders and enjoy the vibe of snowboarding culture. Whether you're racing for the podium or just there for the good times, it's about the experience and the people.

Fernie Alpine Resort is hosting a SheJumps Junior Ski Patrol event on March 26th,

Young girls will learn about mountain safety and first aid while working with the strong women on Fernie ski patrol.  This event is structured as a full-day camp experience; parents/guardians drop the girls off, and they are split into teams based on their skier ability and then rotate through different stations. Throughout the day, girls are taught a range of outdoor skills that ski patrollers utilize to keep the mountain safe. Girls work alongside female patrollers and volunteers to learn more about the many facets of mountain safety and first aid.

Get ready to dust off your neon spandex leggings, put on those classic retro snowsuits, and pull out your leg warmers for the most legit throwback weekend of the year! It's time to tease your hair to the sky, strap on your headband, and dive into a weekend packed with epic contests, Banded Peak Brewing high-energy parties, and non-stop retro fun.

It's a full weekend of retro vibes, so grab your friends, throw on your wildest gear, and get ready to party like it's 1985!

We’re thrilled to announce the return of an event that had everyone embracing winter in all its frosty glory - The Raging Elk Fernie Frosty Four is back for its second year! After an incredible inaugural run, this winter multisport race returns to celebrate all the snowy fun you can have at Fernie Alpine Resort.

The Raging Elk Fernie Frosty Four is a unique relay-style race that brings together four of the most iconic winter activities at Fernie Alpine Resort: skiing/snowboarding, snowshoeing, nordic skiing, and fat biking. Each sport makes up one stage of the race, creating an exciting progression from start to finish.

Yes, it’s a race, but just like last year, it’s about more than speed. It’s about fun, community, challenge, and celebrating the end of winter in true Fernie style. Whether you're pushing for a fast time or simply enjoying the adventure, this race is designed for everyone.

You can take on all four stages solo to test your endurance, or team up with friends and let each person tackle a different leg. Costumes are encouraged, so show off your creativity to the community.
