End the Winter Season on a High Note!

Join us for an unforgettable final weekend of skiing, snowboarding, and celebration as we close out the season in style.

Saturday: Spend the day making your last turns with family and friends before heading to the plaza for an afternoon of live music, dancing, and good times in our BBQ & Beverage Gardens with live music.  Kick things off with the sweet sounds of Hark Raving Sirens before our headliner Fernie Favourites Shred Kelly hit the stage.

Sunday: Start the morning with fresh tracks, then make your way to the Raging Elk Slope Soaker to cheer on daring skiers and riders as they attempt to skim across the pond. After the last splash, return to the plaza for more live music and festivities as we dance into the final hours of the season with Liquid Silence.

Don’t miss this incredible weekend of spring skiing, great tunes, and all-around good vibes.

9 am - 4 pm  ~ Shred The Mountain - Lifts are spinning - head out on the hill to get in a few final turns of the season.
2.30 pm - 3.30 pm ~ Hark Raving Sirens @ Plaza Main Stage
4 pm - 5.30 pm ~ Shred Kelly @ Plaza Main Stage

Liquid Silence

Liquid Silence is a Calgary-based rock group delivering a high-energy mix of original material alongside rock and punk covers spanning from the 1970s to today. Known for their dynamic setlists and raw, engaging sound, the band brings a fresh yet familiar edge to every performance.

A longtime favorite at the Griz Bar, Liquid Silence has built a strong reputation for live shows that keep audiences coming back.  Whether playing crowd-pleasing classics or their own original tracks, Liquid Silence thrives on creating an atmosphere of energy and connection.

Hark Raving Sirens

Hark Raving Sirens is an all-female musical trio from Fernie, British Columbia, featuring Rachel Behan, Kate Pollock, and Nicole Yates, this time accompanied by Ric Behan and Matt Lewis as a full band. Known for their rich harmonies and captivating performances, they've become a beloved fixture in the local music scene since forming in 2013.

From intimate weddings to lively community events like Fernie’s Wednesday Summer Socials, Griz Days, and annual Canada Day festivities, the Sirens bring their unique blend of vocal artistry and energy to every stage.  Drawing inspiration from legendary harmony groups like the Andrews Sisters, the trio effortlessly weaves together everything from timeless classics and '80s hits to soulful bluegrass and contemporary folk and country tunes.

After taking a brief hiatus in 2024 to focus on some of life’s big milestones including marriage, motherhood, and more—the Sirens are back and ready to wow audiences with their vibrant performances and unmistakable chemistry.

With each show, the Sirens deliver powerful vocal arrangements and a dynamic repertoire that highlights the individual talents of each member, leaving audiences enchanted and eager for more.

EVENT FAQs

The live music in the plaza is FREE to attend all weekend.
On mountain access for skiing/riding does require a purchased lift ticket or season pass.

Yes, there will be a beer garden on both Saturday and Sunday with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options from Corona and Banded Peak Brewing!   Food is also available all weekend at resort outlets. 

The music starts at 2:30 pm on both days
