Little Rippers

  • The Little Rippers program is the perfect introductory program into the world of learning to ski for your child. The one-on-one tuition builds confidence and independence in a fun and safe environment. Each 45-minute lesson is tailored individually to ensure continuous development for each child and a season of fun on the snow. Offered on Saturdays & Sundays.

  • In our Wees Club, we build on the foundation that was developed in the Little Rippers program and introduce the kids to a social sports environment with small groups of up to 4 kids to one coach. Our energetic coaches use games and guided discovery to continue to develop the fundamentals of skiing necessary to progress their skiing. They will explore more of the mountain in a safe, small group approach. Offered on Saturdays & Sundays.

  • Our Snow Rangers program is geared toward kids graduating from our Wees program, and starting to ski for a longer duration. Snow Rangers will help bridge the gap for these youngsters between our Wees Club, and our Ski Club, continuing with a small group approach, allowing them to explore the mountain, develop more robust independence in their skiing, and help build their love of the sport. Never Skied Before. Or is not yet able to stop with confidence on a gentle slope.

LEVEL 2
Novice

02

Learning to turn in control on gentle slopes. Usually rides magic carpet. May progress to chairlifts and other easy green runs.

LEVEL 3
Comfortable Novice

03

Can link strong snowplow or wide stance parallel turns on green runs. Occasionally skis a blue run, but cautiously. Has experience riding chairlifts (while skiing). (Introduce poles for Children)

LEVEL 4
Intermediate

04

Able to ski parallel turns with pole plant. Can ski most blue runs, more advanced blues remain a challenge. Would like to explore more varied terrain including the occasional black run.

LEVEL 5
Advanced

05

Strong parallel turns with a pole plant on all blue runs and easy black runs. Learning short turns, off-piste, moguls, powder and more difficult terrain.
