Skiers and snowboarders, get ready to throw down at the Fernie Alpine Resort Rail Park. This is your chance to showcase your skills, compete against your peers, and claim the top spot in your category.
After last year’s wildly successful mega-jam, we’re bringing back the golden format—one big rail jam for everyone.
Event Details
Pre-Event: Registration
- Entry Fee: $15 (includes tax)
- Online Registration Only – Sign up via the link below (no in-person registration on event day).
- Waivers Required:
- 16 & older: Must complete the Event Release Agreement (can be done independently).
- 15 & younger: A parent or legal guardian must complete both the Event Release Agreement and the Parental Consent Agreement during registration.
Event Day: Check-In & Competition
Location: Griz Daylodge
Check-In: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Pick up your bib and get event instructions.
- Bring a $30 cash bib deposit (returned when you return your bib at the end of the event).
Competition Rules:
- All registrations must be completed online. No same-day sign-ups.
- Open to all ages, disciplines, and abilities.
- No inverts allowed – Keep your feet below your head.
- Helmets are mandatory.
Schedule (subject to change):
- 10:00 – 11:00: Check-in at the Griz Daylodge Stage
- 10:30 – 11:45: Rail Park open for practice
- Noon: Mandatory competitors’ meeting in the park
- 12:15: Competition begins
- 3:00: Awards Ceremony
Event Format:
Event will be a mega jam style with everyone sessioning the park together. Competitors will have a set amount of time to show off their skills on the features included in the event. Unlike traditional competitions with a set number of runs, riders can session the rails multiple times over the set time period. Judges score based on creativity, style, difficulty, and effort. The atmosphere will be casual and low-pressure, allowing riders to show off different lines and tricks. Competitors are encouraged to support one another and contribute to a fun, high-energy vibe. Amount of time to session will be announced at the riders meeting, based on the final number of participants. Prizes will be awarded to the top performers in each category, along with some fun giveaways throughout the event.
