Get the Girls Out Hosted by SheJumps and Fernie Alpine Resort 2023
Join SheJumps and Fernie Alpine Resort to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 11, 2023!
Get the Girls out is a national campaign to unite and connect women and girls as they support, challenge, mentor, and inspire each other in the outdoor sports world.
Come out for a day of skiing/snowboarding with a supportive women’s community. The weekend will be kicking off at the Fernie Distillery, March 10th at 7pm with a panelist event followed by activities up at Fernie Alpine Resort on March 11th.
Schedule March 11th
7:45am: Women’s First Tracks Group Session

**minimum 4 needed for the group to go out
8:30am – 5:30pm: Celebration of Women @ Sports Alpine Boutique

9:00am : LOE Meet Up
Meet fellow lady shredders and make new friends. The amazing gals at Ladies on Edge will be leading all-abilities meet-up groups departing around 9:30 a.m. Please meet at the She Jumps Booth near the bottom of the Elk Chair/Mighty Moose
9:00am -3:00pm: All-day activities
Girafficorn Scavenger Hunt & Queen of the Greens – Find out more info at the SheJumps booth
11am – 1pm: Telus Learn To Ski/Snowboard Lessons for those new to the sport
- Brand new to skiing or snowboarding? Get a solid start with a special women’s “learn-to” package that includes a full guided ski/snowboard lesson, rentals and a beginner area lift ticket
- Cost is $169+tax per person.
