HEADLINER – The Steadies
The Steadies aren’t invited to the party—they ARE the party.
Mixing the explosively popular pop-rock genre with rock-steady and reggae influences, The Steadies have created a signature sound called ‘island rock.’ Their latest releases, a series of three EPs, are an ode to the band’s rock-steady roots and offer an electrifying collection of radio-worthy originals and rock-out party songs.  The Steadies’ frontman Earl Pereira got his rock n’ roll pedigree as a founding member of the blues-driven rock band Wide Mouth Mason, who had three gold records, three JUNO nominations, and a host of other accolades and awards. Named one of Canada’s top bass players by Canadian Musician Magazine, Pereira has toured the world, performing over 3500 shows and opening for iconic artists like the Rolling Stones and AC/DC. In 2010, Pereira left Wide Mouth Mason to focus on his band on the rise, The Steadies.
