Registration:
Registration for the event is now open. Click the button below to register
Accommodation:
Please book your accommodation early as hotels and campground do fill up in the summer months.
Hotels:
There are a number of hotels both on mountain and in the town of Fernie (which is a 5 minute drive from the resort).
Racers can book hotels via RCR Central Reservations. You can browse and book hotels online HERE or call RCR Central Reservations at 1-800-258-7669
Camping:
There are several options for camping for the event. Fernie has several campsites in town and close by. You can reserve spots in the following campgrounds:
The Fernie RV Resort and Mt Fernie Provincial Park campgrounds are a short drive and located within 7km of the resort and venue.
Fernie RV Resort (full serviced sites and amenities including internet and laundry)

Mt Fernie Provincial Park (un-serviced sites but has washrooms, shower facilities and proper campsites with picnic tables and firepits)

Camping is also just outside of town at both Mountain Shadows Camping in Sparwood (approx 25min drive to the resort) and Kikomun Provincial Park near Lake Koocanusa (approx 30min drive from the resort)
Mountain Shadows Campground (serviced sites)

Kikomun Creek Provincial Park – 3 separate camping areas (mostly un-serviced sites with a limited number of sites with electrical hookups. Shower and washroom facilities available on site)

On-Site Camping
On-Site Camping at Fernie Alpine Resort
Limited basic parking lot camping may be available at the resort during the event. Since the resort does not operate a dedicated campground, this option serves as overflow once other accommodations in town are fully booked. On-site camping spaces are extremely limited, and reservations may be required. The opening date for reservations will depend on the availability of accommodation in the surrounding area and has not yet been announced. For a guaranteed camping spot, we strongly recommend securing a site early at one of the campgrounds listed above, as on-site camping availability cannot be guaranteed.

Team Tents:
The team tent setup will be in the upper parking lot near the finish line. Team tents can be set up to the left of the sponsor tents and along the back of the lot. See the team tent area map HERE
Team Tent Rules:
– All tents must have weights to tie down their tents. That area does get quite windy with large wind gusts.
– Open alcohol is not allowed
– All garbage and attractants MUST be removed each evening. We have large garbage bins on site to take your garbage to (Please do not leave garbage bags beside any of the bins, please deposit them INSIDE the bin). Fernie Alpine Resort lies within active bear habitat, so please help us keep the area attractant (and bear-free) for the weekend.
