On-Site Camping at Fernie Alpine Resort

2025 UPDATE: ONSITE CAMPING IS SOLD OUT

A limited number of basic on-site camping spaces will be available again in 2025, from July 9 to 14. Fernie Alpine Resort does not operate a campground — this is parking-lot camping only, with no hookups, water, or showers. Basic washrooms and porta-potties will be available.

If you require additional amenities, please refer to the formal campgrounds listed above.

New for 2025 – Please Read Carefully

Due to limited space and updates to our camping policy, all campers are required to reserve in advance. These rules will be strictly enforced to ensure a safe and fair experience for all.

Camping Policy Highlights:

  • Limited Availability
Space is more limited than in previous years. Reservations are required and not guaranteed for all participants. Please have a backup plan.

  • Reservation Details
Reservations will open on Friday, June 6, at 10:00 AM (MDT) via our online portal.
No on-site or day-of bookings will be accepted.

  • Assigned Sites Only
Campsites will be assigned in the order in which they are purchased. No special requests or changes will be accepted, including requests to camp beside friends. For more flexibility, consider booking at a formal campground.

  • Designated Zones Only
Camping will be limited to Lot 2 and Lot 4 only. Camp only in your assigned, marked space. Camping outside these designated zones is strictly prohibited.

  • No Overflow Camping
Once we reach capacity, no additional spaces will be made available.
Do not arrive without a confirmed reservation — you will be turned away.

  • Waitlist Protocol
A small waitlist will be maintained. If a spot opens, you’ll be contacted by phone and email.
If you do not receive confirmation, you do not have a site.

  • Respect Required
Aggressive behaviour or disrespect toward staff will result in immediate removal. Please help maintain a positive environment for all.

  • Shared Resort Grounds
Fernie Alpine Resort is not a campground—it’s a multi-use facility open to all visitors. Campers must respect all resort operations and facilities throughout the event.

Fees & Registration

  • $50 + GST per night

  • Registration opens: Friday, June 6 at 10:00 AM (MDT)

Waitlist Info

To be added to the waitlist, please email: [email protected]
Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot. Make sure you arrange alternative accommodations in advance.

Reminder:
Violating these policies may jeopardise the ability to offer on-site camping in future years. Let’s work together to ensure a respectful and smooth experience for everyone.
