2nd Annual Oktoberfest @ Fernie Alpine Resort
Break out your Dirndl & Lederhosen, Fernie Alpine Resort is excited to host the second annual Oktoberfest event on Saturday, October 12th.
Join us in the day lodge and plaza that afternoon for an all ages Oktoberfest Bratwürst and Biergarten celebration, complete with Oktoberfest inspired food stand, craft beer samples and live entertainment. Then, that evening, join us in the Griz Bar for a delicious German inspired buffet dinner, followed by a party & dance with a live Oktoberfest band!

3pm -7 pm Oktoberfest Bratwürste & Biergarten @ Daylodge & Plaza featuring DJ Goffles (*all ages)
The plaza and daylodge will be turned into an Oktoberfest hall where you celebrate Oktoberfest Fernie style! An Oktoberfest food stand will bet setup with Oktoberfest favourites like Bratwürste and Pretzels to go along with different craft beer stands. Sample different beers from Mill Street Brewery, Stanley Park Brewing and the Fernie Brewing Company and purchase your limited edition Fernie Alpine Resort Okotberfest Stein (quantities are limited). To set the mood, your favourite party DJ – DJ Goflles will be live playing all the best Oktoberfest tunes to keep the celebration going. For the kids we will have ice cold root beer to enjoy along with an activity station from 3:30pm – 5:00pm, where kids can make their own “chicken hats” to wear during our Kids Chicken Dance contest at 5:00pm!
7pm – Midnight – Oktoberfest Dinner & Party @ Griz Bar featureing live Oktoberfest Oompa Band, European Touch (*ages 19+)
Enjoy a delicious German inspired buffet dinner in the Griz Bar while being entertained by a live German Oompa Band – European Touch!
