Enjoy a few laps with Santa and his helpful elf on the hill as they spread holiday cheer all across the resort! Catch them cruising the groomers and stopping for festive photos. Holiday outfits are encouraged!

Hey, Trivia Champs! Are you ready to unleash your brain power? Gear up for an epic evening of festive Trivia at Legend’s Restaurant!

Our hosts are armed with questions on everything under the sun, and your table is in for the ultimate challenge. Plus, treat your taste buds to some of the legendary delights from our menu.

Get in on the action, show off your brilliance, have some fun, and soak up the good times with food, drinks, and your favourite trivia-loving pals.

A Lift Ticket or Season Pass is required to access the lift and slope.

Your daytime lift ticket is valid for night skiing (on the same day), or night ski-only tickets are available at Fernie Alpine Resort Rental Shop.

*Please note:  Night Skiing will pause briefly at approx. 4:45 pm for 10-15 minutes while our cat crew freshens up the slope with a quick groom.

Join us for a cozy and creative evening on the mountain! Our instructor-led Paint Night is perfect for ages 16 and up. Enjoy step-by-step guidance from Rozzy Hibbard as you create your own winter-inspired masterpiece, all while relaxing with a beverage in hand. A fun, social and stress-free way to spend an evening at the resort! The price includes one alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.

Ring in 2026 in style at Cirque Restaurant at Lizard Creek Lodge.

Celebrate the New Year with an unforgettable evening at Cirque Restaurant. Enjoy a delicious dinner, then dance your way into 2026 with DJ Le Chantel spinning from 8 pm until late. This event sells out every year, so be sure to reserve early.

Fireworks

Join us for an evening of fun, free family activities ending with a spectacular fireworks show (held in partnership with Tourism Fernie). The fireworks will take place on the Mighty Moose slope at 9 pm.  The best viewing areas for the fireworks will be at the base of the Mighty Moose run.

Live Music

Join us in Slopeside Cafe for live music from Naena Robinson! Naena will be playing from 7pm-9pm.

Family Activities

We will also have a variety of family crafts and activities from 7pm - 9pm. The activities are FREE of charge. The cafe will also be open for you to purchase hot chocolate and other warm drinks to warm up before the fireworks.

Night Skiing

Night skiing will be taking place on the Mighty Moose from 4pm - 9pm.   Season Pass or Lift ticket is required for night skiing.  Lift tickets from the daytime (Dec 31st) are valid for night skiing or night ski only tickets can be purchased at the rental shop.

NOTE: Due to the high volume of people expected for New Year's Eve, no sledding or toboggining is permitted on the Mighty Moose and lower mountain. Grab your skis/snowboards for some night skiing and join us inside for family activities instead!  

Get ready to rock into 2026 at the Griz Bar's legendary New Year's Eve Party!

The Todd Sellecks, an NYE favourite, will be performing live again this year! The tickets are $85+gst and include live music, a midnight champagne toast, and a late-night poutine bar.

The party is for guests 19 years of age and older, and the doors open at 8 pm.

Tickets are required for entry, and they sell out every year, so make sure to get yours before it's too late!  Tickets go on sale Friday, December 12th at 10am (MST).
