SHOPPING / BASE AREA SERVICES

Welcome to Fernie Alpine Resort!
Our base area services will take care of all of your needs - lift tickets, bike rentals & repairs, summer activity bookings, information, and souvenirs!

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is here to help. We are all here to make sure you get what you need to make the most of your vacation or day on the mountain - after all, this is our passion too!

Visit us to purchase lift tickets, season passes, and to book fabulous summer activities like kids summer camps, guided hikes, and bike camps & lessons! Our friendly and knowledgeable Guest Services staff can also provide you with general information on the resort as well as the town of Fernie.

We carry the latest and greatest in summer technical biking & hiking gear, as well as lifestyle apparel from top industry brands, like Scott, Helly Hansen, North Face, Dakine , Kavu and more. We also have batteries, sunscreen, lip balm, Advil, and the rest of those small essentials for our guests.

Before you leave, don’t forget to stop by and pick up a resort branded souvenir! Whether you are here for a day or a week we have got you covered with everything you need to make your mountain vacation as enjoyable as possible.

Our rental fleet includes SCOTT Downhill & Freeride Bikes and SCOTT kids' bikes. We also carry full-face helmets & Dakine protective gear to keep you safe while you’re riding on the mountain.

The Mountain Edge Rental Shop is conveniently located at the base area, just steps away from the Guest Services office.

REPAIR SHOP

Keep your bike running smoothly! Our qualified technicians will help you resolve your bike issues to get you back in the saddle to enjoy the mountain.

Our bike repair shop is located in the Mountain Edge Rental Shop, as the base of the resort.

Located in the village, the Mountain Pantry at Fernie Alpine Resort can supply you with just about everything you are going to need for a fully stocked kitchen and bar.

We also have a Coffee Bar and are proudly serving Starbucks!  Visit us for your favourite hot specialty coffee!

Get outdoors this summer!  Our Summer Adventure School offers a variety of outdoor programs for kids, youth, and adults.  Join us for Guided Hikes, Specialty Hikes, Kids Mountain Adventure Camps, and Mountain Bike Camps, Clinics, and Lessons.  All programs are led by our awesome professional guides and coaches.
