Kids Group Lessons

All programs meet at the Winter Sports School Meeting place by the Deer Chair.

KIDS GROUP LESSONS

Ages 6-12

Let's make skiing and riding even more fun with Group Lessons for Kids! Join in the excitement of improving your skills in a lively group setting, no matter your child's ability level. It's an exhilarating journey on the slopes, creating unforgettable moments together! To ensure your child's spot, we recommend booking lessons at least 48 hours in advance. Let's hit the slopes and make more memories.

  • Ski group lessons available 7 days per week from December 19th - April 5th
  • Snowboard group lessons available Fridays - Sundays & Holidays from December 19th - April 4th
  • Half Day lessons run for 2 hours: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (Half Day AM) and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Half Day PM).
  • Full Day lessons run for 4 hours in two 2-hour blocks (11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm).
  • Supervised lunch add-on available.
  • Max ratio 10:1
  • Youth 13+ will be grouped with our Adult Group Lessons.

NO SCHOOL RIDE DAYS

Ages 6-17

Make the most of No School Days with non-stop fun for your kids! Join us for an exciting opportunity to boost their skiing/riding skills in a lively group setting. To secure a spot, it's best to book lessons at least 48 hours in advance. The price covers both the lesson and the lift ticket. Suitable for ages 6-17, it's the perfect way for your kids to have a blast while improving their skiing or riding abilities!

  • Available on No School days based on the School District 5, Southeast Kootenays Calendar.
  • Half Day lessons run for 2 hours: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
  • Full Day lessons run for 4 hours in two 2-hour blocks (11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm).
  • Supervised lunch add-on available.
  • Max ratio 10:1
  • Youth ages 13+ participate in Adult Lessons, but are eligible for this special rate.

YOUTH GROUP LESSONS

Ages 13-17

Group lessons are available for ages 13–17 and will normally be grouped with Adult lessons.

Occasionally, youth may be placed with Kids groups if it’s a better fit based on ability level, size, or comfort.

This flexible approach ensures each participant joins a group that best supports their learning, enjoyment, and progression on snow.

  • Ski group lessons available 7 days per week from December 19th - April 5th
