GETTING TO FERNIE

FERNIE, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Fernie Alpine Resort is located in the south-east corner of the B.C. Rockies on Highway No.3 approximately 60 km (40 miles) from the Alberta and U.S. borders. It is 5 km (3 miles) from the City of Fernie and only 1.5km up the hill from the highway intersection.

BY ROAD

Whether driving yourself or taking the bus, the road to Fernie will lead you through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world. The drive is easy with no major mountain passes and the roads are well maintained.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS

For short term visits to Canada you will need a valid passport. Persons under 18 years traveling without their parents should have identification and a letter of authorization from a parent or guardian to travel into Canada.
