Elk Valley Ultra Kids Race – The Double Creek Dash 3K

LOCATION

Stag Leap Running Co. and Fernie Alpine Resort are introducing the Elk Valley Ultra Kids Race – The Double Creek Dash 3K.

This is an amazing experience for kids up to 15 years old who are looking to experience Stag Leap’s Elk Valley Ultra and Headwall Hustle. The race will start and finish in the Fernie Alpine Resort plaza and have runners conquer the Double Creek Loop.

Date: Sunday, July 26, 2026

Time: 8:30 AM Race Start

*Runners will depart after the start of the Headwall Hustle 

Entry Fee: $35  - includes a post-race brunch and an award

Additional Information:

  • Route: 3 km loop on Double Creek - Racers will start and finish in the Fernie Alpine Resort plaza
  • Categories: 9 and under, ages 10-12, ages 13-15
  • Award Ceremony followed by Draw Prizes
  • Parents can accompany younger children. The course will be marshalled, but there will be no aid stations on the course
