WINTER EVENTS

Scott Downhill Race Series 2026 Presented by Dakine

LOCATION

Fast tracks and weekly thrills - Everyone's favourite weekly bike race series is ramping back up for 2026! Thursday night is your shot to claim bragging rights and send it with the best in town. Complete with more advanced terrain, league standings and prizing.

 

 

RACE DETAILS

Thursdays | July 2 – September 3

*Note: No races on July 9th while we prep for the Canada Cup/BC Cup Downhill Race 

TIME

  • Race will start at 6:30 pm

REGISTRATION:

  • Opens Friday before each race
  • Closes at 5:45 PM on race day
  • Spots are limited and fill fast

RACER CHECK-IN:

  • Race day check-in runs 3 PM – 6 PM at Guest Services
  • All racers must be checked in by 6 PM or they forfeit their spot
  • Collect your race plate and pay your entry fee at check-in
  • Don’t forget to complete your online event waiver in advance!

ENTRY FEE:

  • $8 per race
  • Includes your timed run and a post-race beverage at Legends
  • Lift access required (lift ticket or season pass not included)

 

 

 

 

 

FORMAT:

  • Each week features a different trail, intermediate to advanced in difficulty
  • One timed lap per racer, using the Webscorer app
  • Trails are open all day for practice runs. There is no formal training lap
  • After racing, head to Legends to trade your plate for a cold one
  • Prize ceremony and results will follow in the plaza 30 minutes after the final rider finishes
  • Draw prizes weekly, plus points toward overall series standings
  • Riders must compete in at least 3 races to qualify for series podiums
  • Chainless bonus runs on select evenings

RACE CATEGORIES:

  • Youth Male & Youth Female (age 13-17)
  • Adult Male & Adult Female (age 18-39)
  • Master Male & Mater Female (age 40+)

*Age will be calculated as of Dec 31, 2026

Event Release Agreement

Before registering for any of the races, you must complete the Resort Event Release Agreement waiver. This waiver only needs to be completed once and will apply to the entire race series. It must be submitted online, after which you'll receive a unique Event Release ID code—this code is required to complete your race registration.

Participants 16 years and older only require the event waiver. Participants 15 years of age and younger must complete both agreements - the RCR Event Release Agreement AND the RCR Parental Agreement. These two waivers must be completed by your parent/legal guardian in your name.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend a race you have registered for, you have until 5 pm on race day to cancel your registration.  To cancel, please email [email protected]
To ensure we can fill as many spots as possible and start the race on time if racers do not cancel and do not show up for the race, they may lose future racing privileges.
