Accommodation Options

There are a number of hotels both on mountain and in the town of Fernie (which is a 5 minute drive from the resort).  Please book your hotel stay early as accommodation does book up quicky in the summer months.

Racers can book hotels via RCR Central Reservations. You can browse and book hotels online via the link below or call RCR Central Reservations at 1-800-258-7669.

Camping:
The primary camping options for the event are the established local campgrounds in town:
- Fernie RV Resort:  https://ferniervresort.com/
- Coal Creek Camping & RV (new this summer): https://www.coalcreekcampandrv.ca/
- Mt Fernie Provincial Park: https://bcparks.ca/mount-fernie-park/

All three of these campgrounds are located less than a 10 minute drive from the resort and offer a range of campground services and amenities.

For a full list of campgrounds within the area visit: https://tourismfernie.com/accommodations/camping-rv

A limited number of basic on-site camping spaces will be available. As Fernie Alpine Resort does not operate a campground, this is parking-lot camping only, with no hookups or showers. Basic washrooms and porta-potties will be available.  Due to limited parking lot space, pre-booking is required for on-site spots.  As on-site parking lot camping is intended as an overflow option, bookings will not open until closer to the event date.  Keep an eye on this page for more details.   As there are limited spaces available, racers are strongly encouraged to secure accommodation through the established local campgrounds to guarantee a site.
