Fireworks

Join us for an evening of fun, free family activities ending with a spectacular fireworks show (held in partnership with Tourism Fernie). The fireworks will take place on the Mighty Moose slope at 9 pm.  The best viewing areas for the fireworks will be at the base of the Mighty Moose run.

Live Music

Join us in Slopeside Cafe for live music from Naena Robinson! Naena will be playing from 7pm-9pm.

Family Activities

We will also have a variety of family crafts, games and  family photo booth from 7pm - 9pm in the daylodge. The daylodge activities are FREE of charge.

Please note this is a family fun event and not a supervised drop off. Our staff and volunteers are around to spread cheer and help facilitate the activities but are not able to supervise children.   Children must be accompanied by a parent/family member.

In addition to the daylodge activities, Slopeside cafe is open for live music, board games and beverages and light snacks. The Slopeside cafe will also be open for you to purchase hot chocolate and other warm drinks to warm up before the fireworks.

Night Skiing

Night skiing will be taking place on the Mighty Moose from 4pm - 9pm.   Season Pass or Lift ticket is required for night skiing.  Lift tickets from the daytime (Dec 31st) are valid for night skiing or night ski only tickets can be purchased at the rental shop.

NOTE: Due to the high volume of people expected for New Year's Eve, no sledding or toboggining is permitted on the Mighty Moose and lower mountain. Grab your skis/snowboards for some night skiing and join us inside for family activities instead!
