Community Appreciation Day

Our Community Appreciation Day is BACK! 

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, Fernie Alpine Resort will say ‘Thank You’ to local communities by offering a day of skiing and riding to the residents of the Elk Valley – Fernie, Elko, Elkford, Grasmere, Jaffray and Sparwood  – as part of the annual Community Appreciation Day.

Lift tickets that day are available by donation* (minimum $1) with 100% of these funds will be donated to the Fernie Food Bank.
*Cash donation preferred.

Please note that Photo ID and proof of local residency is required to receive the lift ticket.  Proof of local residency includes a driver’s liscense with Elk Valley address or a document showing an Elk Valley Address (pay stub,  utility or tax bill) along with an ID to match the name on the document.

Tickets are only valid on January 22; snow checks will not be issued on complimentary tickets.

Complimentary tickets are available to Elk Valley Residents only. Cranbrook and area residents are welcome to enjoy Community Appreciation Day at Kimberley Alpine Resort on January 15, 2023.
